Concurrent Enrollment allows qualified students to enroll in a limited number of courses at the college while completing high school graduation requirements. Concurrent Enrollment participants may enroll in college level courses any time and in any format, e.g. classroom lecture, telecourse or online.

Jump Start College is a program jointly sponsored by Anne Arundel Community College and the Anne Arundel County Public High Schools. This program allows seniors who have completed the majority of their high school graduation requirements to explore college-level courses and programs while they are still in high school. Jump Start participants qualify for reduced tuition--eligible participants will receive a 50% reduction in tuition costs. Eligible students may take regular college classes during specified times that will complement their high school schedules. Typically, students enroll in college classes during the 11 a.m.-5 p.m. time frame in the fall and spring terms. Evening, weekend, online, telecourse, summer- and winter-term courses are not eligible for the reduced tuition.

Early Admission allows high school students with a minimum 3.0 grade point average at the end of their junior year to apply to Anne Arundel Community College with permission from their high school. Requirements for high school graduation may be completed at the college during the summer term following the junior year or may be fulfilled by successfully completing the first year of college. Students seeking early admission should consult with their high school counselors to ensure their planned college program will satisfy the requirements for a high school diploma.
