DISABILITY SUPPORT SERVICES
The Disability Support Services (DSS) office, under the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), advocates for students with disabilities in support of AACC's commitment to make all students the best citizens and workers of the world. At DSS, we strive to provide equal access to educational opportunities for qualified students with disabilities and to promote full participation of all students in college life.
In order to receive classroom accommodations, all self-identified students must provide current documentation, and DSS advisors are available to meet with students to discuss the procedures necessary to obtain appropriate documentation and to identify accommodations for which a student is eligible.

TRUXAL LIBRARY RENOVATION AND EXPANSION UPDATE
AACC is renovating and expanding the Andrew G. Truxal Library, one of the original buildings on campus. This long-awaited project will help us ensure that students and the community have access to the resources they need for academic, professional and personal success. All services will be available throughout the construction period and relocated to a temporary building next to the tennis courts and across from David S. Jenkins Gymnasium.
Upon completion of the project you can look forward to a brighter library packed with high-tech features, a computer commons, private group-study areas, a lounge and more.
