WALK-IN ADVISING has resumed at the Arnold campus.  Appointments are always required at AMIL and GBTC (via OASIS).

CARS is the vehicle that gets you to your academic and career goals.  We offer academic advising, transfer information, personal counseling, educational workshops, career coaching, employment services, disability support services and more.  Stop in to find out how we can help you!

To meet with an academic advisor you will need your AACC ID#.

July 5 through August 31

ARNOLD CAMPUS - second floor of Student Services Center:

Advisors will meet with all students on a WALK-IN basis, no appointment needed!  DSS and TEACH appointments will continue in OASIS at MyAACC .

To have enough time to complete the advising and registration process during regular operating hours, you must arrive at the Advising Center between:

8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday
8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday
9:00 a.m. and 12 noon Saturday 

New Students who need to take AACC Placement Tests will meet with an advisor following the test.  To have enough time to complete the testing, advising and registration processes during regular operating hours, you must arrive at the Arnold Testing Center between:

8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday
8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Friday
9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Saturday 

ARUNDEL MILLS - AMIL 105:

Advisors will continue to meet with students BY APPOINTMENT in July and August.  Returning and continuing students may schedule an appointment in OASIS at MyAACC or call 410-777-2307 or 410-777-1905 for assistance.   

New Students who need to take AACC Placement Tests may meet with an advisor by appointment; limited same day appointments are available following the test.  To have enough time to complete the testing, advising and registration processes before the Enrollment Services Center closes, you must arrive at the AMIL Testing Center between:

10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday
10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Friday
9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Saturday 

Glen Burnie Town Center:  Advising sessions are always by appointment:

  • Log on to OASIS at MyAACC or call 410-777-2945 to schedule an appointment at GBTC.

Fort Meade:

  • Until renovations are completed, advising has been moved to AMIL.
