Counseling, Advising and Retention Services provides an ombudsman who serves as a student advocate and will help students express concerns, complaints and grievances.
Ombudsman services include:
- Providing advice and guidance to resolve student concerns, complaints and grievances within the powers of the office
- Referring students to other appropriate campus committees, if necessary
- Communicating information and acting as a clearinghouse regarding policy and procedures
- Follow-up services and assessment on an ongoing basis
