Departmental "Fast Track" Degrees

Interested in Architecture, Interior Design or Construction Management and already have a degree? Want to count what you have previously earned? Want to get a degree by taking fewer courses? Then you may qualify for the department’s “Fast Track” degrees. These degrees automatically count the general education courses from the degree you previously completed and streamline the required courses for the new AAS degree that you need to complete.

Following a “Fast Track” degree option means that your degree’s general education, computing and information technology competency and diversity requirements are considered satisfied if you hold an associate, baccalaureate or master’s degree from a U.S. regionally accredited college or university and whose program of study includes at least 20 hours of general education courses (excluding physical activities courses). A minimum of 30 credits must be earned at this college; see Graduation Requirements in the current college catalog for more information.

Students must still meet all course prerequisites. Official transcripts from all previous institutions attended must be submitted to the Office of Records and Registration. Students planning to transfer using an articulation agreement should check specific course requirements on the college’s transfer page.
