Men's Soccer

Our team plays a competitive schedule against regional community colleges at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III level, and is a member of the Maryland JUCO Conference.

NEWS Former AACC soccer alumnus and Glen Burnie native Brian Crossman was inducted into the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame in November. Crossman played soccer & golf at AACC in 1974-75, and served briefly as an assistant soccer coach under former AACC head coach Ken Wolf.
Crossman has an outstanding record and career as an administrator and soccer coach with over 300 wins, and is credited with promoting high ideals to his student-athletes who have received many awards for academic achievement and sportsmanship. He served on numerous NAIA committees and was president from 1995-98. He currently serves as physical education department chair at Covenant College.

  • Congratulations to freshman Marco Caltabiano & sophomore Luis Quintero who earned honors for NJCAA Exemplary Academic Achievement & MD JUCO All Academic Team for the 2010-11 school year! Sophomore midfielder Gianni Maruggi is an NJCAA second team All American!  Maruggi had 11 goals & 3 assists for the season.
  • AACC finished the season as the NJCAA Region 20 tournament runner up after falling 3-1 in a hard-fought championship match to top-seeded Howard CC who are ranked 6th in the nation. Gianni Maruggi, Burnell Dailey & Matt Dupreay earned a spot on the all-tournament team.
  • Maruggi and Dane Slavin are 1st team All Region & All JUCO.
  • Christian Zeleny, Kevin Rama, and Tyler Fernandez are 2nd team All Region and All JUCO.
