GED Test Prep Classes

If you have a strong foundation in reading, writing and math, but need a little polishing up to prepare for the GED test, then these two traditional (face-to-face) classes are for you. Take one or the other or both depending on your needs. Students who successfully complete both courses or the combined course earn a continuing education certificate in GED Preparation.

These classes are partially funded by a grant from Maryland Literacy Works and the U.S. Department of Education. Scholarships are available through AACC. To qualify students must take the GED Practice Test and be referred by AACC Office of Basic Skills staff.

Requirements

  • Students must be age 16 or older and be officially withdrawn from high school.
  • Students must have attended either an ABS Orientation and Assessment Session or a GED Practice Test session. Contact the Adult Basic Skills office for upcoming orientation information or to schedule a GED practice test session.
