Career Resource Library

The Career and Transfer Resource Center's Career Resource Library provides a variety of materials that can be useful in the career planning and job search process:

  • Occupational Information
    Books that offer in-depth descriptions of occupations.
  • Employer Directories
    Books listing addresses, phone numbers, and contact names of employers in a wide range of areas (e.g., federal employers, non-profit employers, employers in certain states).
  • Career Resource Handouts
    Module sheets on various career related topics.
  • College Catalogs 
    Catalogs to four-year and other two-year schools in and out of the state of Maryland.
  • College Application Materials
    Applications and view-books from various colleges and universities.
  • Financial Aid Resources
    Books offering information about scholarships, loans and grants.
  • Job Hunting Resources
    Books and guides explaining the job search process, resume writing, networking, dressing for success, and interviewing.
