Computer Technologies Department Areas of Study

Computer Information Systems programs develop career skills and have immediate application to solving business problems. More than three dozen technical courses are offered that form the core for seven certificate and three degree programs. Graduates of these programs can enter the workforce or continue their education at a four-year institution.
Computer Science offers transfer and certificate programs in programming languages, operating systems and other topics related to the computer science field. Graduates can transfer to nearby four year institutions or enter the workforce as computer professionals.
Computer Network Management programs provide knowledge of network technology and management. It prepares students who have an interest in pursuing or furthering careers in installing, repairing and/or administering today's local and wide area networks.
Web Technologies programs prepare students for careers in Internet programming Web page design, or Web site management.
