Colloquia

The Curriculum Transformation Project (CTP) seeks to encourage a curriculum that emphasizes the social construction of race, ethnicity, gender, social class, sexuality, age, disability and culture (which includes religion), while addressing the cause and effects of structured inequality. To support this goal CTP offers a variety of colloquia for faculty. These professional development opportunities provide faculty with the opportunity

  • to learn about the latest research related to diversity issues
  • to discuss ways of including analyses of diversity into their curricula
  • to workshop new classroom activities and assignments
  • to learn pedagogical strategies for maximizing the learning potential of all students
