Anne Arundel Community College's training facility is equipped with the latest high-tech equipment to ensure those we train get hands-on experience with the current technology. The Center for Cyber and Professional Training encompasses the entire third floor of an office located adjacent to Arundel Mills mall and less than five miles from Fort George G. Meade. Our CyberCenter staff is dedicated to partnering with industry to develop and sustain a highly-knowledgeable, highly-skilled cybersecurity workforce.

  • Convenient Location - Located less than five miles from Fort George G. Meade, home to the NSA and United States Cyber Command
  • General Cyber Security Labs - Dedicated space for general cybersecurity courses
  • Cisco Training Labs - Built using current Cisco technology for hands-on learning
  • Defense Labs - Provides opportunities for participants to work on separate segmented networks for penetration and defense exercises
  • Digital Forensics Lab - Mimics the work environment found in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF); designed in collaboration with the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3), pursuant to the Center of Digital Forensics Academic Excellence (CDFAE) designation; participants learn on current hardware and software platforms (MAC, Linus, Android and Windows) and use standard commercial and open source tools for investigations in the location and recovery of digital evidence
  • General Use Labs - Can be expanded to accommodate up to 44 participants or partitioned off into three segments for smaller groups
  • On-Site Testing Center - Certified for many of the industry certifications outlined in Department of Defense Directive 8570.1
