AACC Accomplishments
- Developed and implemented the dance curriculum and the dance major at AACC.
- Established the AACC Dance Company
- Established a service learning component enabling the dancers to give mini-performances at multiple Anne Arundel County public schools.
- Partner in a grant through AACPS allowing accomplished AACC dance students to be compensated by the county for choreographing works on the students at Anne Arundel County public schools for performance.
- Established the Youth Dance Festival through continuing education.

- M.A. from Stanford University in Education with a concentration in dance
- B.A. from Connecticut College in English and Dance
Experience
- Taught master classes and performed throughout the United States.
- Faculty member and scholarship instructor for the Maryland State Dance Festival.
- Served as President for the Maryland Council for Dance from 2002-2004 and remains active on the board.
- Performed professionally in California, Utah, Texas, Maine, and Maryland
- Taught dance at Stanford University for the “STARTS” program.
- Former full-time dance faculty member at West Virginia University where she directed a dance company and choreographed for the Women’s Varsity Gymnastics Team.
- Commissioned to set her work on several schools and companies in Maryland, Maine, California, and Virginia.
