If you want to gain basic electrical knowledge to perform simple wiring projects in your home, AACC offers courses in residential wiring. If you are interested in a career as an electrician, the college also co-sponsors two electrical apprenticeship training courses approved by the Maryland Apprenticeship Training Council (MATC). If you are already an electrician, interested in taking the master's exam, AACC offers a continuing education review class just for you.

Apprenticeships
AACC also offers formal apprenticeship training, a four-year commitment normally paid for by your employer. Apprentices take their classroom training at various locations throughout Anne Arundel County while on-the-job training may be done at a work site or other places.
