DINING SERVICES POSITIONS

Deli/Cashier
Shifts available: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, Mon-Thurs 2pm-7:30pm, Mon-Thurs 2pm-6:30pm (Hourly Position w/ No Benefits)
Assist in the preparation and service of all foods served on the food line in accordance with the guidelines set for Dining Service’s recipes and presentations. Maintain product quality, presentation and proper cook time standards. Portion and prepare food items prior to cooking and serving. Other duties include set-up, preparation and breakdown of coffee areas, breakfast food items, salad bar, hot bar, deli, pizza areas, general front/back-of-the-house stocking and organization. Cash handling may also be included with daily job tasks.
Responsible for maintaining all front and back-of-the-house work areas, equipment (small and large), in a clean, sanitary, safe environment and in efficient and effective manner.
Assisting as cashier on POS. Acting as a customer service representative of Anne Arundel Community College Dining Services with the goal of customer satisfaction as the key priority.
Deli Assistant
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent desired.
Must be able to stand and exert fast paced mobility for periods up to four (4) hours in length.
Must be able to lift and carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to supervisors.
Educated in the safe and proper use of kitchen equipment.
Must be able to handle stressful situations and respond to emergency situations to avoid danger to self and others as well as responding to the demands of food service production.
Proven commitment to providing excellent customer service, food production, sanitation standards and working as a team member in a food service dining position.
Shifts available and duties:
Mon-Fri 6:30am-2:30pm, Mon-Thurs 2pm-6:30pm
Duties include: Cash Handling, Sandwich Preparation, Espresso Drink Preparation, Cleaning and Maintaining Work Area
General Utility/Dishwasher
Shifts Available: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
Duties: Include maintaining the dish area, proper cleaning and storage of all equipment and keeping floors and mats clean. Responsibilities include maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment (small and large), etc. in a clean, sanitary, safe environment and in an efficient/effective manner.Assist in checking in and proper storage of all food product deliveries and breakdown of boxes. Pulling product for satellite operations and daily on-campus deliveries included as a function of this position.
Qualifications:

Educated in the safe and proper use of knives, slicers and other kitchen equipment.
Experienced Grill Cook
Mon-Fri 8 am - 8 pm
Duties: Food prep, grilling, customer service
Qualifications: Fast paced line experience, team player, reliable, personable
Pay Rate is based on experience.
