Glen Burnie Town Center (GBTC) College Services Assistant
Duties: Responsible for the dissemination of information to the general public and Anne Arundel Community College students, faculty and staff. Provides operational, instructional, and clerical support.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Three years of general clerical experience required; some experience in supporting academic services and programs strongly preferred.

Ability to type accurately at 55 wpm using a personal computer. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and PC applications.

Ability to work well with minimal supervision with attention to details and deadlines.

Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Working knowledge of college operations and resources highly desirable.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, and weekend hours to accommodate the needs of the program.

Participate in a plan of professional development to enhance current job skills.

Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with students, faculty, staff, governmental agencies, community organizations and the public.
Pay rate: $10/hour
Hours: 20/week
