Hotel, Culinary Arts and Tourism Institute (HCAT)
Function: Assist Facilities Manager and Facilities Coordinator with various
kitchen duties in a kitchen environment which includes hot
ovens, walk-in refrigerators and freezers.
Hours: 25 hours per week
Pay Rate: $12 - $14 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive and store product.
Prepare class product requisitions.
Maintain storage room.
Arrange class set up and breakdown.
Cleaning and sanitation of kitchen.
Wear supplied required uniform.
High school graduation or equivalent. Some culinary or post-secondary education helpful.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Familiarity with computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and with attention to accuracy, details and deadlines.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Must have the ability to work on your feet in a changing environment.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
