The Desktop Support Assistant works under the direction of a senior staff member and provides basic support of computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, applications and audiovisual equipment for both instructional and administrative areas. The individual assists in providing customer support for students, faculty and staff.
The individual will work under the guidance of a senior staff member to assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues, formatting and configuring laptop/desktop computers and mobile devices, delivering and setting up equipment, and performing basic software installations and upgrades. The individual also will assist with inventory administration and preventive maintenance in labs and smart rooms.
$13 per hour
