EMT Paramedic Certificate and Degree Course Sequence

EMT-Paramedics are in great demand. As advances in patient care technologies and therapies occur, the role of the paramedic will expand to meet the challenges.

GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
(Courses may be taken prior to, concurrently, or following the EMT-Paramedic course sequence and are only needed if seeking degree)

EMT-105 - Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) (7)
BIO-230 - Structure and Function of the Human Body (4), or
BIO-232 - Human Biology 2 (4), or
BIO-234 - Anatomy and Physiology 2 (4)           

FIRST YEAR - TERM 1 
EMT-140 - EMT-Paramedic 1 (13)

FIRST YEAR - TERM  2
EMT-142 - EMT-Paramedic 2 (13)           

After successful completion of EMT-Paramedic 1 and EMT-Paramedic 2, students are eligible to sit for the NREMT-Intermediate exam before completing the EMT-Paramedic 3 term.
