The Battle by the Bay FLL Qualifier - December 8, 2012
Join us in the CALT Atrium for Anne Arundel Community College's 2nd Annual "Battle by the Bay" FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) Qualifier Tournament on Decemeber 8, 2012!
The FIRST® LEGO® League is a world-wide robotics program for students from ages 9 to 16. Each year, FLL teams complete a challenge based on a theme.
Participants
This year's tournament will feature 16 local teams competing in events related to FLL's Senior Solutions Theme.
Schedule
Opening Ceremonies start at 12:45, followed by Robot Performace Rounds and then an Awards Ceremony at 4 p.m.
Cost
All events are free!
To support his year's theme, donations of the following items will be accepted for the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities: winter hats, mittens or gloves, scarves, all-occasion boxed cards, fleece blankets/throws (lap blanket size), and personal care items (hand lotion, lip balm, shampoo, hand sanitizer, bar soap).
Inclement Weather Plan
In case of inclement weather, refer to the information below:
If AACC is open with no delay, the tournament will be held as scheduled.
If AACC has a delayed opening, morning team registration will begin 1/2 hour after the official AACC opening time. Other events will be adjusted as necessary and afternoon activities will take place as scheduled.
If AACC is closed, the tournament will be postponed and held on Sunday Dec 9, 2012, weather permitting.
