The English Department proudly presents another fine specimen--no, the Christmas tree, silly! Ah, it’s always Christmas in the English Department.
I joined the Department in 1990 and have taught English 001, 002, 111, 121, 214, and 221.
My hobbies include hunting for waistcoats (vests to Americans), retaining my British accent, and listening to these musicians: Billy Bragg, Red House Painters, Sun Kil Moon, the Smiths, Rufus Wainwright, Aztec Two-Step, Mark Kozelek, Nick Drake, Ed Harcourt, Jackson Browne, Keith Jarrett, Morrissey, Joni Mitchell, Noel Coward, Gilbert and Sullivan, Handel, Bach, Telemann, and more.
Come to class prepared to write and, perhaps, to hum. . . .
