I am AACC's ESL Student: Susan

Student Snapshot: Susan

Hometown: El Salvador. When Susan came to the United States in
May 2006, she did not know any English. She enrolled in the Academic
ESL Program for the spring term of 2007.

Her Reasons for Attending AACC: Susan chose the English program
at AACC because it is convenient and close to her house.

Her Thoughts about AACC: For Susan, being in the ESL program has
been a positive experience: her teachers have been good, and she has received individual attention in the classroom. She encourages students who want to improve their English to study at AACC.

Her Future Plans: After Susan completes the ESL program next spring,
she would like to study business and eventually go to a four-year university.
