Anne Arundel Community College is excited to host the college's 53rd ceremony on Thursday, May 21, rain or shine, under a big tent on the athletic practice fields on the Arnold campus, 201 College Parkway, Arnold. The ceremony will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Be sure to take a look at the related links to the right for more information about what to expect, preparations, parking, social media and more. AACC’s Commencement will be simulcast on cable TV in High Definition on Broadstripe channel 495 and Comcast Channel 995 or in Standard Definition on Broadstripe Channel 95, Comcast Channel 95, or Verizon FiOS Channel 35 in Anne Arundel County. Comptroller Peter Franchot to Give Commencement Address
Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot will give the commencement address at Anne Arundel Community College’s 53rd Commencement ceremony. Franchot was elected as Maryland’s 33rd comptroller in 2006 and was re-elected to a third term in November 2014. 

Since he took office, he has made it easier for Maryland residents to file taxes, protected consumers from fraudulent tax preparers and ensured that the majority of taxpayers receive refunds within three business days. His office also has collected nearly $4 billion in unpaid taxes. Under his leadership, the Maryland Comptroller’s Office has received national acclaim as the most efficient in the nation.
