December Calendar of Events

Admission Discounts

The AACC Box Office in the Robert E. Kauffman Theater in the Pascal Center for Performing Arts offers ticket sales and reservations by phone (410-777-2457), by email to boxoffice@aacc.edu and in person for events in the theater. Box office hours vary each term but are typically 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The Box Office offers discounted prices for many events. Discounts are available to AACC students with valid student ID, seniors age 60 and over, groups of 10 or more attending the same performance, AACC faculty and staff members and students from schools other than AACC. Be prepared to show a photo ID to receive the discount.

Athletic Events

AACC fields 11 men’s and women’s athletic teams and is affiliated with the Maryland Junior College Athletic Association (MD JUCO) & the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Read more here [link to www.aacc.edu/athletics] about upcoming games, tournaments and team reunions.

Dec. 6 – 1:30-3:30 p.m. Business seminar, “Tech Talk - Digital Forensics: What do I need to know?” part of the Center for Workforce Solutions’ Java Spot sessions to keep businesses, organizations and government agency personnel up-to-date on current issues. This session offers a lively discussion about recent trends in cybercrime, including the inherent security risks and evidentiary value of computers, networks and mobile devices. As part of the session, tour AACC’s new cyber training facility, the Center for Cyber and Professional Training, 7556 Teague Road, Hanover, near Arundel Mills. Performing Arts

Dec. 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15 at 8p.m., Dec. 9 at 2p.m. – Play, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” directed by Lars Tatom, AACC theater coordinator. A Theatre at AACC production, this play by Barbara Robinson tells what happens when the Herdman children – the worst children in a town – take over the annual Christmas pageant; performed in the Robert E. Kauffman Theater of the Pascal Center for Performing Arts on the AACC Arnold campus; tickets are $15 general public; $12 senior citizens, outside students, AACC faculty and staff,  active military, and groups; and $7 AACC students with ID; for tickets, email boxoffice@aacc.edu or call 410-777-2457.
