June 19-20 – 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Lecture and Field Trip; Lecture on Wednesday, June 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and field trip to Odessa, Del., on Thursday, June 20, departing the Anne Arundel Community College Arnold campus at 8:30 a.m. Odessa is a historic colonial shipping town with a collection of period buildings, antiques and Americana artifacts. Registration for “Historic Odessa: 18th and 19th Century America” (HRY 370-301) required. Seating limited to 22. Cost is $69 which includes transportation and admission fees. June 28 – Lecture and Field Trip – Lecture and tour of colonial southern Anne Arundel County on Friday, June 28. Emphasis will be on London Town and Gardens, a 23-acre complex in Edgewater. Participants will have an escorted tour visiting the William Brown House and smaller structures, learning about the architecture and materials used during this period. Registration required in “Colonial Anne Arundel: South County (HRY 352-301). Seating limited to 12. Cost is $59 which includes transportation and admission fees.
