A Little More

Amy Nudell was born and raised in North Dakota, a place very unlike Anne Arundel County. Her experiences as a nurse in a small town are a source of fascination for her students, and she supplements teaching with stories about her time there.

Nudell ended up in Maryland when her husband’s job in the U.S. Air Force brought their family here. She’s been at AACC since 2015, starting as an adjunct professor before becoming a full-time faculty member in 2019. She enjoys preparing the next generation of nurses, teaching courses in nursing fundamentals.

“I am inspired by the first semester nursing students and their stories about how they chose the path of nursing,” she said.

Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and their springer spaniel.
