AACC's School of Continuing and Professional Studies offers a variety of ways to stay fit while having fun. The fitness classes range from Aquatic Fitness classes like Arthritis Aquatic and Swimming for Fitness; to Group Exercise classes like Aerobics, Basic Boot Camp, Butts and Guts, Embody Barre, Kickboxing, and Zumba; to stress reduction classes like Yoga and Tai Chi. There is something for everyone!

AHC 367 - Beginning Kayaking
New, recreational paddlers learn how to select a paddle, properly fit a life jacket, and enter and exit a kayak as welll as various strokes.
AQUATIC FITNESS
HTH 395 - Arthritis Aquatic Therapy
Designed for students limited by impaired joint motion or strength. Practice exercises designed to improve muscle strength, coordination, endurance and ability to perform daily tasks.
AHL 371 - Swimming for Fitness
Practice speed drills and improve endurance through this masters-type swim program. Includes stroke work and strength building exercises as necessary.
AHC 364 - Synchronized Swimming NEW
Experience the beautiful world of synchronized swimming. Learn the basic and modified skills needed in performing aquatic stunts.
AHL 367 - Water Aerobics CREDIT/NONCREDIT
For swimmers as well as nonswimmers, contributes to cardiovascular development, strength improvement, increased flexibility and proper weight maintenance.

Learn basic self-defense moves from a black belt in karate.
AHC 346 - Aerobics
Improve your cardiovascular system and tone muscles through dance aerobics. Gain strenght and flexibility using hand weights with floor work.

Fuse Latin rhythms with easy to follow moves as you learn Zumba fitness.
AHC 335 - Basic Boot Camp
Experience a calisthenics-based fitness program. Practice simple but profoundly effective exercises. Little or no equipment is needed. Designed for those who need motivation to start and continue a fitness lifestyle.

Work out your lower body with a focus on burning fat and toning muscles.
AHC 359 - Embody Barre
Combine ballet bar core exercises with ballet and modern dance moves for body shaping results. Increase flexibility, strengthen your core and improve posture.

Experience nan energetic, fun, hip-shaking workout from Brazil.
