AACC's School of Continuing and Professional Studies offers professional training in Floral Design for personal interest or professional pursuits. Discover the art of flower arranging and learn techniques to create basic centerpieces or high fashion arrangements for special occasions. OCC 398 - Floral Design for Party Planning NEW
Expand floral design skills for party planning. Learn more than 25 varieties of flowers and how to coordinate and contrast these varieties. Design and complete specific projects with hands-on lab work.

OCC 316 - Basic Floral Design
Discover the enjoyment of creating beautiful floral arrangements in a one-day course. Use your new skills to create tabletop and other arrangements in class.

OCC 357 - Fine Tune Flower Arranging Skills
Discover a range of traditional and contemporary arrangements with easy-to follow instructions. Create designs to integrate into home decor that transform the average settings to luscious, floral-adorned spaces.

OCA 387 - Floral Chandeliers
Learn how to create elegant cascading centerpieces for weddings or other special occasions.

OCC 369 - Japanese Influence on the Art of Flower Arranging NEW
Interpret the styling of Ikebana in new designs. Arrange branches, grass and seasonal flowers with the orderly precision indicative of Japanese culture.

OPA 310 - Patriotic Red, White and Blue Designs NEW
Take the three basic holiday colors and create extraordinary designs for the Fourth of July festivities. Design arrangements to rival the fireworks!

OCU 335 - Floriculture 2: Advanced Floral Design
Practical instruction further develops skills in floral design.
Prerequisite: Basic Floral Design
Note: Bring a sharp pocketknife, small wire cutter and scissors.

OCA 322 - Floriculture 3 - High Style Designs
See detailed demonstrations of contemporary designs. Practice making arrangements, such as bridal bouquets, sprays and standing designs.
Prerequisites: OCC 331 Floriculture 1: Basic Floral Design and OCU 335 Floriculture 2: Advanced Floral Design.
Note: Bring a sharp pocketknife, small wire cutter and scissors.

OCA 353 - Floriculture: High and Low Arrangements
Add a splash of color to your home with flowers and flowering plants. Learn how to create tall and low-profile arrangements, care for plants and use a variety of accessories to brighten designs.
Note: Bring a sharp pocketknife, small wire cutter and scissors.

OCU 351 - Wedding Flowers and Corsages
Create romantic and elegant floral displays from the bride's bouquet to reception arrangements. Complete three projects: a bridal bouquet, a throwaway bouquet and an altar arrangement

OCC 312 - Capstone Project for Floriculture
Earn a continuing education certificate in floriculture. Create a floral project as a final exam.

OPT 347 - Summer Flower Arranging
Professionally arrange summer foliage and flowers in casual but elegant combinations designed for an individual customer.

OCA 354 - Floriculture: Black and White Arrangements
Add a dramatic touch to a room using simple dark or light flower arrays. Learn how to combine tulips and calla lilies for a beautiful black arrangement or use a few snapdragons, Canterbury bells and cymbidium orchids to make a striking white bouquet.

OCA 350 - Tabletop Design
Learn to produce innovative  and impressive centerpieces that can decorate parties, weddings, special events and business functions. Create many beautiful designs by using unique containers, interesting props and a variety of fresh-cut flowers.
