The Institute for the Future at Anne Arundel Community College (IF@AACC) promotes future thinking, fosters innovation and engages learners in the art of foresight. Acting as a catalyst for creativity, it develops futures expertise, provides futures tools and creates partnerships. The institute prepares learners to take responsibility for individual and societal futures. It is part of the Sarbanes Center for Public and Community Service.

- Learn how to incorporate futures thinking into course content, the workplace, and your personal life—we provide a wealth of resources as well as professional development opportunities, and a guide for and personal futures planning.
- Share your expertise—participate in our Brown Bag Lecture Series or contribute to Futureportal (our monthly electronic newsletter).
- Help your organization prepare for the future—we offer keynote presentations, research, and useful demographic data projections, and we can facilitate customized workshops on future trends, tools, scenario building, and strategic planning techniques for government agencies, academia, business and industry, and not-for-profit organizations.
