Recent articles in periodicals are discussing the need for responsible use of nanomaterials. A September Washington Post article about the National Research Council's report detailed some potential environmental and health problems arising from nanoparticles and nanotechnology. There is an opportunity, while nanotechnology (or molecular manufacturing) is still in its infancy, to address safety and explore possible unintended consequences. The Center for Responsible Nanotechnology presents some issues and opinions...
