John Delozier, CHA, is the Assistant Director at the Hotel, Culinary Arts and Tourism Institute (HCAT) at Anne Arundel Community College. Prior to joining HCAT full time, Delozier, worked for the Community College of Baltimore County developing new continuing education programs focused on Hospitality Workforce Development.
In 2011, Delozier started Practice Hospitality, Inc. to provide hospitality consulting services with a focus on existing properties and hotel development opportunities in PA, MD, OH, and WV. Previously, he was a Regional Vice President for PA based HLI Hotels and managed several Carlson, Wyndham, and Best Western brands.
Delozier began serving on the advisory board for Anne Arundel County Community College-HCAT Institute in 2006 and joined the adjunct instructional staff in 2009. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association's Board of Directors and previously chaired the Gettysburg Convention & Visitors Bureau Board of Directors. Delozier was part of the Roads To Freedom Task Force, an Adams County, PA community health initiative sponsored by WellSpan Health. He has served on the Franchise Operators Advisory Forum for Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, in Minneapolis, MN and the Restaurant Association of Maryland Education Foundation Board of Directors.
Delozier holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Lebanon Valley College, a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Organizational Management from Eastern University and an Associates of Science Degree in Bible from Lancaster Bible College. He has been a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) with the American Hotel & Lodging Association since 2008.
