Wine Certifications

Are you a beginner and want to learn more about wine? Are you a wine enthusiast thinking of turning your love of wine into an exciting career? Are you in the food and beverage industry and want to take your wine knowledge to the next level? AACC is pleased to present the following wine certification courses.

CLN-330 - French Wine Scholar
Become a French Wine Scholar (FWS) through an intensive study of wines from eight regions of France -- Alsace, Bordeaux, Beaujolais, Burgundy, Champagne, Loire Valler, Southern France, Rhone Valley. Upon successful course completion that includes a final exam, students receive the "French Wine Scholar" certification. 

CUL-391 - International Wine Certification Part 1
This course is ideal for beginners, wine lovers and hospitality industry professionals with a basic foundation in wine. Students who satisfactorily complete the course and pass the examination receive the Wine Spirit Education Trust (WSET®) Level 2 Certificate in Wines and Spirits. Gain a detailed overview of wine and spirits. Each class meets in a café-style demonstration room where you will hear lectures, participate in discussion, taste 8-10 wines and enjoy light bites. The course book, study guide and certification exam is included in your course fee.

CUL-392 - International Wine Certification Part 2
Explore factors that influence the style, quality and price of wines in the key wine producing regions of the world through lecture and tasting 8-10 wines. Develop analytical tasting skills for the WSET® Level 3 Certificate in Wines and Spirits examination.

Students must be age 21 or older to enroll to enroll in all wine certification courses.
