All race proceeds will benefit IMA World Health, particularly the Safe Motherhood Kits. Every minute, a woman dies from complications of pregnancy or childbirth. IMA World Health's Safe Motherhood Kits provide clean and sterile birthing supplies to expectant mothers in areas where infant and maternal mortality rates are among the highest in the world. Every mother and child deserves a safe birth. IMA’s mission is to advance health and healing to vulnerable and marginalized people the world over.
