The Letter of Recognition is a cluster of courses that are appropriate for individuals currently in the fitness industry who wish to improve their knowledge base and/or are seeking to be more marketable as a personal trainer.

Students must have current adult CPR and Community First Aid certifications (two separate certifications).
Completion of required courses with a grade of C or better.

Assessment and Theory of Fitness and Health
Weight Management: Utilizing Healthy Approaches to Diet and Physical Activity
HEA/BIO-138 - Nutrition for Fitness and Sport
HEA-230 - Personal Trainer Fundamentals
Students apply to the Records and Registration office for the Letter of Recognition after they complete the program requirements.
