Anne Arundel Community College offers credit courses to meet the needs of students preparing for employment in the health professions field, as well as those who wish to renew or update their skills to meet new licensure requirements.
We prepare students for transfer to an institution that grants a baccalaureate degree for further study and for entry into a field that assists people in all phases of personal and/or community health.

Surgical Technology Program Admission for the Fall 2012 Class

Electrocardiogram and Intravenous Therapy Technician Certificate
Prepares student for employment in physicians' offices, hospitals, clinics, surgical centers, and wherever basic electrocardiogram and intravenous therapy skills are needed. Home Health Caregiver Option Certificate
The courses in this certificate provide knowledge of the social, biological and psychological aspects of the aging and aging populations and also provide fundamentals for students choosing to continue in aging studies.
