School of Health Professions, Wellness and Physical Education

Anne Arundel Community College offers credit courses to meet the needs of students preparing for employment in the health professions field, as well as those who wish to renew or update their skills to meet new licensure requirements.

We prepare students for transfer to an institution that grants a baccalaureate degree for further study and for entry into a field that assists people in all phases of personal and/or community health.

NEW! Spring 2009 Patient Care Technician (PCT) and Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) students will need to complete program applications in order to enroll in the program.
Application deadline for Spring 2009 PCT 1 and PCT 2 classes is November 17, 2008.
