AACC’s degree and certificate health care programs will prepare you for a high-demand job in the health care field. Enroll in credit studies with transfer options to institutions offering baccalaureate degrees; professional licensure programs; or training for immediate employment. Learn from highly experienced faculty who are experts in the field and through hands-on learning using state-of-the-art equipment, such as the simulation lab. Our advisers are available  to support you each step of the way.

Health Professions Information Sessions

Most Health Professions programs require attendance at a free information session before submitting an application. Available online information sessions include Emergency Medical Technician, Health Information Technology, Medical Assisting, Medical Laboratory Technician, Nursing, and Radiologic Technology

NEW CERTIFICATE! Veterans Counseling
As part of the Human Services department, the Veterans Counseling certificate is designed for counselors, social workers, and other practicing human service professionals seeking specialized training to meet the unique needs and complex issues of military and veteran populations in the United States. Attend an information session to learn more or contact Dr. Nicole Williams for more information. 

Health Information Technology Degree 
Exciting new career in health care technology! Become an important member of the health care team! Learn more about this program. For the class beginning in fall 2014, applications will be available in December 2013 and will be due March 15, 2014. Electrocardiogram and Intravenous Therapy Technician Certificate
Prepares student for employment in physicians' offices, hospitals, clinics, surgical centers, and wherever basic electrocardiogram and intravenous therapy skills are needed. Persons who are already employed in health care may enroll in this program for career development. For more information, email ppolgreen@aacc.edu or call 410-777-2925.
