School of Health Professions, Wellness and Physical Education
Anne Arundel Community College offers credit courses to meet the needs of students preparing for employment in the health professions field, as well as those who wish to renew or update their skills to meet new licensure requirements.
We prepare students for transfer to an institution that grants a baccalaureate degree for further study and for entry into a field that assists people in all phases of personal and/or community health.
Health Professions Orientations
Most Health Professions programs require attendance at an orientation session before submitting an application. Attend a free orientation seminar to learn more about our programs! Available online orientations include Health Information Technology, Medical Laboratory Technician, Nursing, Physician Assistant and Radiologic Technology.

Electrocardiogram and Intravenous Therapy Technician Certificate
Prepares student for employment in physicians' offices, hospitals, clinics, surgical centers, and wherever basic electrocardiogram and intravenous therapy skills are needed.
