Current Students: Maintaining F-1 Visa Status

Currently enrolled international students with an F-1 Visa must maintain an F-1 student status in order to comply with U.S. law and remain enrolled in Anne Arundel Community College.

Requirements to Maintain F-1 Status
You must maintain your F-1 student status while studying in the United States. The requirements for maintaining F-1 visa  status are extensive, therefore you must carefully review the document below and make sure you are in compliance. The college must report updated information and violations of student status to the U.S. government using the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), an electronic tracking system, within 21 days of violation. It is the student’s responsibility to maintain legal status and abide by the regulations.

Carefully read the document below and contact the International Admissions Specialist or Director of Admissions if you have any questions.
