Employment in the computer systems design and related services industry is expected to increase by 45 percent through 2018, about four times faster than the average for all occupations and be one of the 10 fastest growing in the nation. Entry-level video game programmers earn up to $96,000 per year.
What is the training?
Learn the fundamentals of game hardware – game consoles, handhelds, video cards, sound cards and input devices – through a single online, noncredit course offered in partnership with Protrain. The course runs for 19 weeks. Total Hours: 60

What credentials will I earn?
Upon successful completion of the program, students will earn an AACC continuing education certificate. To receive the certificate students complete and submit the form to our office. The form and instructions can be found at www.aacc.edu/coned/certificates.

$907 for Anne Arundel County residents, including tuition and fees
What are the requirements?
Students must be 16 years old and have a computer with high-speed Internet connection. Basic computer programming experience is recommended.
