Library Renovation
AACC is renovating and expanding the Andrew G. Truxal Library, one of the original buildings on campus. This long-awaited project will help us ensure that students and the community have access to the resources they need for academic, professional and personal success. All services will be available, though relocated, throughout the construction period. Upon completion of the project you can look forward to a brighter library packed with high-tech features, a computer commons, private group-study areas, a lounge and more.

Temporary Group Study Space
Due to the limited amount of space available in the temporary Library, additional group study space has been made available, as follows:
Computer Labs
In addition to the library's Reference computers, computers are available to students in the TLC computer lab and the Computer Commons.
For additional information about the renovation, contact LibraryRenovations@aacc.edu.
Quiet Study Space
A number of study carrels that wouldn’t fit into the Temporary Library have been placed in other buildings around campus, to give students more places for quiet study. Most of them are located in alcoves or at the end of a hallway, so they are available whenever the building is open.
Quiet Study Carrel Locations
Careers 240 (the study lounge overlooking the Quad)
Careers - Near the 2nd floor vending area
Careers - 3rd floor near the Sarbanes Center (Room 314)
Humanities - “Zero” level, near Room 008
Florestano – Near Room 119
CALT - Near Room 101
CADE – 3rd floor, overlooking the art gallery
