Performance at AACC

Encore Chorale, under the guidance of Jeanne Kelly, is an excellent singing program for adults 55 and older.  It is an innovative program, accessible to all and provides a creative outlet you will love.

If you grew up singing and forgot how much fun it was, or you always wished you could sing, come join this amazing, talented group at AACC and make Monday afternoons the best of your week.

You will find it challenging and fun-and completely addicting!

No experience is necessary, just a willing attitude to learn.

Encore has 13 chorales in the DC/VA/MD area serving more than 680 singers, as well as a growing affiliate network nationally.  The Encore mission is to provide an excellent and accessible arts education and sophisticated performance opportunities to older adult singers.  All levels of vocal experience are welcome and singers may be seated for rehearsals and performances.

Encore Chorale Spring Concert
Sunday May 15th

3:00 p.m.

The Anne Arundel Community College Encore Chorale, along with the Southern Maryland, Towson and Columbia Encore Chorales, will present “With a Song in My Heart” Spring Choral concert at the AACC Pascal Center for Performing Arts on the Arnold Campus. More than 120 singers will take to the stage to present a concert that will include blues favorites by Hoagy Carmichael, the romantic music of Rodgers and Hart, Clap Yo’ Hands by Ira and George Gershwin, and a wonderful medley from Broadway’s Guys and Dolls. The concert is free and open to the public. Seating is on a first come basis and doors open at 2:30pm.

From Washington or Annapolis
Take Route 50 east to exit 27, Route 2 north (Governor Ritchie Highway) toward Baltimore. Stay on Route 2 for about three miles. Turn right on College Parkway. The first right turn is the campus entrance.

From Baltimore
From Interstate 695 take exit 2, Route 10 toward Severna Park. Stay on Route 10 until it ends at Route 2 (Governor Ritchie Highway). Follow Route 2 south about five miles. Turn left on College Parkway. The first right turn is the campus entrance.
