Important Parking Information

With AACC’s increasing enrollment, parking at the Arnold campus becomes more challenging. The following tips have been developed to assist you in dealing with parking when you arrive for fall classes in 2010. View the tips below or download a printable version.PDF

Parking Tips

1. Familiarize yourself with the campus map, parking locations and signage. View the map

2. During the first two weeks of classes, arrive early to ensure you have ample time to find parking and locate your classes.

3. Look for AACC’s greeters near the parking lots. They can help you find your classes and answer any general questions you may have.

4. Park in the area closest to your last class of the day.

5. Start by parking in the overflow parking areas in lots H and C. These lots are historically the last to fill.

6. Choose either the West Campus entrance or the College Drive entrance off of College Parkway to enter the campus. This will help avoid tying up traffic on College Parkway.

7. Follow all Public Safety directions and signage in order to get on and off the campus in a timely manner.

8. If you are dropping someone off for class, do not stop in the middle of Ring Road. Choose an area to pull over.

9. Once parked, leave your car there. Do not try and drive to the remainder of your classes.

10. Consider forming a car pool. For more information, go to the Car Pool Web site.

Please always be respectful of others and pay attention to the safety of pedestrians. Planning ahead is the key to success.
