As a member of Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC), a consortium of 1,800 colleges and universities dedicated to providing educational opportunities for service members and their families, AACC is proud to provide training and academic programs tailor-made for individuals transitioning from the military or changing careers.
Classes are offered online, at AACC at Arundel Mills, Glen Burnie Town Center, the Arnold campus and many other locations around the county, making AACC a convenient way to upgrade your skills for the workforce of today and for tomorrow.
Located in close proximity to the nation’s capital and along the Baltimore-Washington technology corridor, Anne Arundel County offers a wide variety of jobs in diverse fields. And AACC, through its numerous partnerships with government, industry and other organizations, can provide the latest training to best prepare you for those jobs. Areas of study include accounting and finance, computer technologies, construction, culinary arts and hospitality, engineering, health professions, homeland security and intelligence analytics, information assurance, math, science and science technology, teaching and transportation logistics and cargo security.
Among its many outreach initiatives for veterans, military personnel and their dependents, AACC staffs a Military and Veteran Resource Center on the Arnold campus in the Careers Center Building Room 107. AACC also has a campus chapter of the Student Veterans of America and an active student veteran ambassador program.
