 AACC Concert Choir

  Study music literature from the Renaissance time period to the Contemporary time period. Programs are prepared for college and public performances.

May be taken for credit or non-credit.

Meets on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in Cade 224.

AACC Chamber Singers* - Douglas Brandt Byerly, Director  

A small, auditioned choral group.  The ensemble sings choral literature ranging from chant to vocal jazz, as well as joining the Concert Choir for master works of choral/orchestral literature. 
*Prerequisite: Demonstrated ability to sight-sing as well as demonstrated vocal ability.

Meets on Fridays at 12:00 p.m. in Cade 224.

“The History of Rock Opera”

Saturday, November 19 at 7:30 p.m.

This award-winning, original multi-media show, written by Douglas Brandt Byerly, features a retrospective glimpse of the history and development of Rock Opera on vinyl, the stage, and in concert. Originally conceived ten years ago, this show has been produced at ARTSCAPE, Washington College, and at AACC. Featuring the music of The Who, Queen, Webber & Rice, Green Day, and more!
