If you need to expand your workforce, reserve a booth now for the Anne Arundel County Job Fair set for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 14, in Jenkins Gymnasium at Anne Arundel Community College, 101 College Parkway, Arnold.

More than 2,000 job seekers attended a similar event last spring, and expectations call for another capacity crowd. Free seminars will cover interviewing tips (10:30 a.m.) and effective resume preparation (noon). Prospective employees include those seeking entry-level positions and those already in the workforce.

The deadline for booth reservations is Thursday, March 24. The $200 registration fee includes a six-foot table, two chairs, a directory listing and lunch for two representatives. No late registrations will be accepted.

Sponsors expect more than 75 employers and government agencies to attend.

Sponsoring the job fair are the Anne Arundel Workforce Development Center, Anne Arundel Workforce Exchange, Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Division of Workforce Development, Anne Arundel Community College, Anne Arundel County Department of Social Services, Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce, Anne Arundel County Branch of the NAACP, Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce.
