Anne Arundel Community College has promoted Kathleen K. McArthur of Millersville to a new position, director of instructional finance. An AACC employee since 2001, McArthur most recently served as the budget manager in the college’s Business and Financial Resources office.

She previously worked for two years as a general ledger accountant at USinternetworking Inc. (USi) in Annapolis, an application services provider that delivers professional computing services and e-Business development to more than 150 organizations in more than 30 countries worldwide.

A native of Hyde Park, N.Y., McArthur graduated cum laude from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn., with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She assumed her new position in June.
