Active military servicemembers, veterans, their spouses and dependents can find out about educational opportunities, new college financial aid options and more at a free open house hosted by Anne Arundel Community College at Meade Middle School.

      The 6-7:30 p.m. event takes place Wednesday, May 13, in the Meade Middle School cafetorium. Get details on new veterans’ benefits under the Post-9-11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. Learn about transferring credits to AACC from other schools or military training to jumpstart work toward a degree or certificate. Get help getting started at AACC in summer or fall classes.
