Attend E-nnovations Conference

Current and prospective entrepreneurs can boost their business savvy, network and exhibit their products at the e-nnovations™ 2009 Mid-Atlantic entrepreneurship conference, “Gaining Competitive Advantage,” on Friday, Nov. 20, at Anne Arundel Community College.
The 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. conference at the college Center for Applied Learning and Technology on the Arnold campus features Tim Koegel and Hillary Fordwich as morning and afternoon keynote speakers, breakout sessions with leading entrepreneurs, an exhibit hall for sponsors, continental breakfast and networking lunch. The conference, which is presented by the college Entrepreneurial Studies Institute with corporate sponsors, is open to students from two- and four-year colleges and universities as well as professionals.
Koegel conducts CEO boot camps nationwide to strengthen media relations, presentation and communication skills and is author of “The Exceptional Presenter, the Definitive Handbook for Showcasing Your Message.” He will discuss “The Exceptional Presenter” and participants will each receive a copy of his book by the same title.
Fordwich is president and founder of Strelmark LLC, business development consultants, and is a national expert on developing businesses, building strategic relationships and managing client relationships. She will address “building Business by Taking a Strategic Relationship Approach and Mastering the 5 Cs for Building and Maintaining Relationships.”
Presenters at the breakout sessions include David J. Leudemann, area executive and senior vice president of BB&T, “Building Banking Relationships and Financing Your Business;” and Kristen Valerio, executive director of the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council, “Making the Connection – Leveraging Your Network and Professional Organizations.”
