See Paris for the first time or in a new light this summer as you join an Anne Arundel Community College travel-study class, “Paris by Design: Classical to Contemporary.”
The 10-day trip includes tours of the Paris Opera House, Arc de Triomphe, Le Centre Pompidou, Villa Savoye, Le Panthéon, Jardin du Luxembourg, Palais du Louvre, Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris and San Chapelle, Eiffel Tower, Château de Vincennes, Château de Versailles and gardens, Villa La Roche, Parc de la Villette, Montmartre and Le Sacré Coeur. The trip includes several shopping and dining outings including one to the Champs Elysées, two free days for individual learning and exploration, a walking tour of the Art Nouveau District and a dramatic evening architectural cruise on the Seine River.
The $2,990 fee includes airfare (nonstop from Dulles), complimentary breakfasts, hotel accommodations (double occupancy and wifi access) at the Paris Ronceray Opera, tour admissions and ground transportation (metro passes and transfers). Tuition and course fees are excluded. Those interested must sign up for TRS 311 and pay the $2,990 trip fee on or before March 5.
The trip is open to anyone interested in touring Paris. Register as a credit student (ACH 261) to earn three college credits (not required).
