The AACC Legal Studies Institute presents its annual Forum on the Judiciary, a popular free event for AACC students and the public, on Wednesday, April 14, at Anne Arundel Community College.
Join judges from each Maryland court, a federal district court judge and a circuit court master as they discuss the roles of their respective court and significant Fourth Amendment cases and issues, including vehicle stops and searches, that have influenced or set legal precedent in recent years. The two-hour event, “Your Rights under the Fourth Amendment: Search and Seizure,” starts at 6 p.m. in the Cade Center for Fine Arts Room 219 on the Arnold campus.
Participating are Chief Judge Robert M. Bell, Maryland Court of Appeals; Judge Alexander Williams Jr., U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland; Chief Judge Peter B. Krauser, Maryland Court of Special Appeals; Judge William Mulford, Anne Arundel County Circuit Court; Chief Judge Ben C. Clyburn, District Court of Maryland and Master in Chancery Cynthia M. Ferris, Anne Arundel County Circuit Court.
