The Entrepreneurial Studies Institute at Anne Arundel Community College is seeking entries by noon on Friday, April 2, in its inaugural business feasibility “Big Idea Competition.”
Sponsored by A.J. Properties Inc., the competition enables AACC students to compete for cash prizes, gain skills in writing business feasibility proposals and network with professionals. The contest is open to AACC students in good standing who are currently enrolled in at least one credit or noncredit course or who have completed a course at AACC between April 1, 2009 and March 31, 2010.
Three to five finalists selected will present their business feasibility plans starting at 8 a.m. Thursday, April 29, in Careers Center Room 129 on the Arnold campus. These presentations will mock an investor presentation. A panel of judges, representing the fields of business, legal studies, government and education, may include entrepreneurs, investors, lenders and entrepreneurial scholars.
