AACC's Flea Market Can Help Empty Your Attic

Events
April 9, 2010

Put cash in your pocket and empty your attic by selling wares -- including the kitchen sink -- at Anne Arundel Community College’s “Big Flea Market and Community Yard Sale” Saturday, June 5, on the Arnold campus.

Sign up for table space early and save. Early birds registering on or before May 28 for space, including a table, pay $25. Spaces with tables reserved May 29-June 5 cost $30. Additional tables cost $5 each. No food vendors are allowed.

The 8 a.m.-1 p.m. event takes place rain or shine and is free for yard sale shoppers, who traditionally find lots of bargains from household décor to exercise equipment, clothing, jewelry, toys, tools and furniture.

Set up is in parking lot F, which is easily accessible off Gov. Ritchie Highway (Route 2) and West Campus Drive. In case of rain, the sale will move indoors to two adjacent buildings, the Cade Center for Fine Arts and the Center for Applied Learning and Technology.

To reserve a space, call AACC Event Services at 410-777-2614 or visit www.aacc.edu/events. The Arnold campus is at 101 College Parkway. Call Disability Support Services, 410-777-2306 or Maryland Relay 711, 72 hours in advance to request special accommodations.
